We are Forebel. We believe it can be better. That it has to be better. And that's why we make socks that are made from environmentally friendly materials and recycled waste. Our passion for sustainability drives us and we are determined to protect the environment and contribute to a more sustainable future. By using recycled materials in our socks, we reduce the demand for new raw materials and help reduce waste. Our mission goes beyond just making fashion-conscious, sustainable socks; we strive for a real change in the industry. We believe in the power of collaboration. On all levels. We work with NGOs, charities, retailers and fashion brands as well as influencers and brands in sectors other than fashion. As long as they sincerely believe in the same thing: that things can and must be done differently. At Forebel, we prefer to focus on the light rather than being left in the dark. We believe it can. Without that belief, the energy needed to bring about change is lacking.

Forebel strongly believes in promoting a circular economy. With the Sock by Sock concept we prevent the waste of overproduced socks. We want to start a revolution by encouraging people to wear two different socks and raise awareness about the harmful overproduction in the fashion industry.
